Week- who knows how many

It is always weird getting to the end of week one of the transfer because I always believe that two weeks have gone by. The week started out with a very early morning because we woke up to take Elder Menzel to the airport. Once he got there, i think he realized that there wasn't really another choice and he seemed at peace with it. He has a BRIGHT future ahead of him. Elder Bouaka left later in the day, so he even got to meet all the new missionaries! I bet that was a great first thing for them to see: a missionary sending home his companion.

All of he blues are so great! They came off the plane smiling from ear to ear! I am so excited for them. After sending the other group home, I didn't know who could replace them, but the blues will definitely step it up! One of the sisters got to the legality place and didn't have her passport and she started really worrying about it. She came to me and I said, "the first thing to do is to not worry about it. We'll take care of it." It's such a great opportunity to serve everyone.

The blues conference went well and Elder Wilkey and Elder Wiberg presented like pros! It's going to be such a great transfer!

Amandine texted us and asked if we could go to the cemetery with her. When we got here, she said that she was sad because the priest refused to give her mother a religious ceremony for her burial. We offered to dedicate her grave she Amandine accepted. Afterwards, we asked Amandine how her mother would have reacted if she had met the missionaries. Amandine said that she would have accepted, so, we set plans to do her mothers baptism in the temple. What a special moment.

Stay tuned,
Elder Marshall Underwood
