At the end of this week, elder Menzel said, "I feel like an American missionary. All we did this week was eat with the members and then baptize on Saturday." It wasn't quite that intense, but actually yeah it was. I got my two new companions, Elder Wilkey and Elder Wiberg and then we went and saw all of the members and ate with them.
On Saturday, we had the baptism of Amandine. There is always something that goes wrong at baptisms. The font wasn't filling up correctly, so the elders spent one hour carrying buckets of water back and forth to the font. The baptism went great other than that. She has changed so much and I am so happy for her. On Sunday she bore her testimony and It was beautiful. She knows that God loves her.
Love,
Elder Marshall Underwood
